The Dumbuck Country House Hotel Booking Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing to book with The Dumbuck Country House Hotel. We look forward to welcoming you. By making this booking you are entering an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions of booking below.

Provisional bookings – the hotel can hold a provisional booking for 7 days with no obligation, the date is automatically released after 7 days. Confirmed bookings – a non-refundable/transferable deposit must be paid to secure a chosen date.

The price of the accommodation includes the following:
Electricity, linen, cleaning, hot water, central heating, staff, parking and breakfast.
All prices are in pounds and include VAT at the current prevailing rate.
Prices are subject to change without notice. However, your price is guaranteed once you are given a written confirmation number.

For the avoidance of doubt, your price does not include any incidental charges, which you may incur during your stay.  Such charges will be payable by you on your departure and, in the event that you fail to pay any such supplementary charges, it is a condition of your contract with The Dumbuck Country House Hotel that you irrevocably authorise us to debit your credit or debit card (see ‘Deposits and Pre-payments’ below) for the amount of any shortfall.

Well-behaved pets are permitted by prior arrangement only at the additional cost of £10 per pet/per night.

Acceptance of Children
We welcome children of all ages.

Guests with Impaired Mobility
We have 3 ground floor bedrooms available for guests with impaired mobility.  They are street level, with parking directly outside, they have a private entrance and all have walk-in showers specially adapted.  Please call the hotel direct for details.

Car Parking
Plentiful car parking is available.

Cancellation and Insurance
By making your booking, our agreement is a legal contract. Our cancellation policy is 24-hours before check –in.  Should you wish to cancel this booking out with the 24-hour cancellation policy you will be able to receive a full refund. If you cancel your booking within 24-hours the room payment for the first night’s stay will be required in full.

Non-availability of Accommodation
We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would however attempt to offer you alternative accommodation.  If this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you for the accommodation. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

Your accommodation will be available to you from 3pm on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged. We may not be able to accommodate you if you arrive earlier than the agreed time as we will be busy preparing your rooms.

Please be ready to leave the accommodation by 11am on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged. We will provide you with an invoice, payable on departure for any additional services you may have used during your stay.

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.

Balance of Monies Outstanding
Prior to your departure from the hotel you will be required to settle your bill. We accept all major credit cards, except American Express.

Privacy Policy
Any data collected during the course of this booking will be stored safely. With your permission, we may from time to time contact you about promotions and offers.  We will not share your details with any third party.

Complaints or Comments
Any complaint or comment regarding a stay at our hotel should be made in the first instance to the hotel’s duty manager at the time of your stay so that it can be resolved at the time.  We will do our best always to resolve your issues and make you comfortable.

These terms and conditions shall be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which the hotel for which you make your booking is situated.
Any bookings made with promotional discounts cannot be cancelled or changed (i.e. voucher, special offer, gift). Cancellations made will forfeit the promotional offer.
