We are situated in Dumbarton with views over the River Clyde, a short drive away from Glasgow Airport (allow 15 minutes for the journey) and a 10 minute drive to the banks of Loch Lomond and Scotland’s first National Park.
In Dumbarton itself, you can visit The Denny Tank heritage museum and Dumbarton Castle which perches precariously atop Dumbarton Rock.
Helensburgh’s elegant promenades and the shipping heritage of the Clyde are celebrated throughout West Dunbartonshire, and offer something to please every visitor within a 20 minute journey. Charles Rennie MacKintosh’s Hill House, the jewel in the crown of local architecture, can be seen.
Loch Lomond offers water sports and sailing from Balmaha harbour, at the other side of the Loch and the championship golf course at Loch Lomond Golf Club regularly attracts household names to world class golfing tournaments. Walking and Hiking enthusiasts have ample choice of trails, either forest or mountainous to suit everyone.
